Crisis Response Services Now Available to All Companies

When tragedy strikes a workplace in the form of serious on-the-job accidents, murder, suicide, death of a coworker, robberies, domestic violence or other assaults on premises, it benefits employers to respond effectively. A timely and organized response by administrators can assist employees to recover emotionally and focus on the important goals of the organization.

 

Coastline EAP, a leading provider of employee assistance programs, announced it now offers crisis response services to any organization that experiences a workplace-based traumatic event. Trained, experienced members of the Coastline clinical staff travel to affected worksites to deliver trauma response services. The service is available for all local (RI and nearby MA and CT) companies which do not currently have a full Employee Assistance Program (EAP) contract with Coastline EAP.

Trauma response services include consultation to managers and administrators on crisis response; on-site sessions with affected personnel; handouts to employees giving them information on reactions to traumatic events and healthy coping methods; follow-up sessions, as needed, in the weeks following the event; one-on-one consultation and treatment referral for severely affected staff and family members; and 24-hours/7 days per week emergency on-call coverage.
